Is GamersBook Free?


Yes it is. All current features are free and will remain free in the future.
In case we add some premium membership services in the future, that you will have to pay to use them, you will be told on time.

How do I report abuse, gamersbook account theft, identity thefts,
underaged users or any other kind of abusing ?

Just send us email to abuse@gamersbook.com with an explanation of the problem  and we will act as fast as possible, since we take those circumstances seriously.


Bugs, errors on the site ?

We would like to ask you for your support so we can make our product
as best as possible each new day, so just send us an error report at
errors@gamersbook.com with a full description of the error and how it happened.

In case someone compromised my account, what can I do?

For a start just try to retrieve your password with the Forgot Password tool.
In case someone else is trying to send you a reset password form, ignore the mail and delete it. Be sure to check the mail date and be sure you are the one who sent the password retrieve form.

In case you still have problems with your account and you are not able to
retrieve it, then we will ask you to send us a photo of you holding a piece of
paper with your account name on it. That needs to be sent from your original
e-mail adress on which you registered your account earlier.

How do I change my profile information?

To change all your profile informations, all you need to do is to login on
your own profile and click the Edit My Profile button positioned under
your avatar/profile picture.

How do I instantly get on my profile at any time ?

In case you want to jump to your own profile at any time all you have to do is
click on a button positioned at top left corner, that is named
My Profile - profile name.

GamersBook logo and what is it used for ?

GamersBook logo is our own brand of logo and is used as our own product
identity. Also on this website the logo is clickable and should be used
to send you instantly to GamersBook homepage. Our advice is to use it to
instantly jump on News form and see what happened lately in gaming world.


How do I change my GamersBook name?

You can change your GamersBook name (GB name), at any time by clicking on your Edit my Profile button and changing your GB name to a new one. Also you should note that in case some GB names are already taken, there is no way you can take it or make it the same, becouse all GB names are unique.

How do I create my own Group?

All you have to do is to log on the site and go to your profile. Under your avatar you have a button called Create a Group that sends you instantly to the group creation form.
Also Under the group creation page there is a option to LOCK THE GROUP .
This means that once you have created a group that you plan to be private group, lets say Guild/Clan group with no strangers, all you have to do in case you want it locked is to go under edit group settings, lock it and your group instantly becomes private only.


What is armory search bar ?

Armory search bar is our unique tool that should be used by World of Warcraft players.
Our idea behind it is that once you meet someone really cool on World of Warcraft, but  you are not sure if he is a member of GamersBook, all you have to do is to copy / paste his armory url inside our own armory search bar and in case he has his character linked to his profile, he will be found.

How do I use other search bars ?

All you have to do is type in either your friends GamersBook name, Real name or his e-mail and in case he is a member of GamersBook, he will be found. Also you can write something similar and hope our smart search engine finds him.
Also in case you want to use Group Search engine, all you have to do is write in the group name to find it or something similar and hope it will be found under filtered groups.
