Diablo is, and always has been, an isometric RPG franchise, but as the series went full 3D in the latest installment it became possible to tweak the camera and switch the perspective of the game. This is precisely what one modder did, changing the perspective to a classic 3rd person camera. At first glance the gameplay does look similar to WoW, although with more mobs and faster cooldowns. It's also clear that the game wasn't created for a perspective that is as zoomed in as this, with some graphical imperfections becoming glaringly obvious. But it's also interesting how much a simple change of camera perspective influences the complete feel and mood of the game.
